How do Gemini students access FLCC library resources?

Gemini students are high school students taking courses for FLCC college credit. Because you’re registered as an FLCC student, you can use the library’s resources, including online databases. Sign in with your FLCC username and password, the same login you use for other FLCC accounts.

Setting up your FLCC account

You will need both a computer and your phone to complete this process. If you haven’t set up your FLCC login yet:

  1. Go to the FLCC Account Activation page and select Account Activation Form. Select "Student."
  2. When it asks for an email address, use the one you gave when you registered for FLCC classes. This should be your personal email. If you registered using your high school email, the authentication email will most likely get stuck in your school filter and you will need to call IT for help.
  3. Check that email for a temporary password and follow the link to set a new one. You’ll also be asked to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), with the Microsoft Authenticator app. The activation page explains how to do this.

Once this is done, you can use the same login for the library databases.

Not sure which email you used, or the reset email isn’t arriving?

  • Check your spam folder
  • Fill out the Email Update form to have the correct email added to your account. Once IT adds it, try the password reset again.

Still stuck?

  • For login or password problems, contact the FLCC IT Help Desk at helpdesk@flcc.edu or 585-785-1419. The library can’t view or change student accounts.
  • For questions about using library resources, contact our Gemini liaison librarian, Leticia Kalweit, at leticia.kalweit@flcc.edu
